Rumour Has It.

I heard along the grapevine that professional freerider and snowboarding champion Jeremy Jones is here in Hakuba and everybody seems to have seen him except for my boyfriend. Jeremy Jones is known for his incredible big mountain riding and pushing that little bit further than all the other pros. Often seen hiking his way up an almost impossible icy cliff face, he is the envy of all free-riding snowboarders, and watching his film 'Deeper' makes me think, "oh yeah, I could do that". So if I were to meet Jeremy Jones, I could only dream of looking as amazing as Abbey Lee Kershaw in 'The Big Chill' editorial, shot by Karl Lagerfeld in October 2010.

If only all fashion was this practical...

Arizona Dream.

The weather here has been miserable. Rain in a snow village is never fun when your sole purpose is snowboarding... But this editorial reminds me of good weather and although it is a little old (fall 2010, I think) I absolutely love the large knits, dusty colours, earthy tones and the Arizona scenery. Stunning. ♥

New in at Topshop. There are soo many items I want. However, here are just a few.

I have a trip to Tokyo planned at the end of March... still a bit over a month away, but I am so excited and writing a list of things I want and need. I can't wait! ♥

St Valentine. ♥

So, its that time of year again when most of my friends get depressed and re-evaluate their lives and make a new plan for the year, without a significant other. However, this day should be embraced whether you're single or in a relationship. Its about love and yes, love with your boyfriend/girlfriend, partner, husband or wife, but if you look at the bigger picture, and take a look at all the love in your life then you should be grateful no matter what the relationship, whether it be friends, family and/or even pets who sometimes bring the most simplest of joy in life. I subconsciously associate this day with depression and if you do have someone special to spend it with then you are usually the envy of others and they shame your happiness. But I say celebrate to your heart's content and if you have someone who  doesn't know, there's no better day to tell them than today. So,

I am absolutely loving Alexa Chung's fox print dress that she wore to New York Fashion Week. I adore it.

Alexa is wearing the long sleeve maxi dress version, but it is also available in a long sleeve tee, a mini dress, a skirt and a button down blouse. All from Opening Ceremony. Wow. I love it!

NYFW

While I read about my favourite fashion bloggers jet setting their way to New York for NYFW I can't help but be insanely jealous and constantly dream of what I would wear if it were me catching a flight to the 'city that never sleeps'. Everything in fashion right now is about fashion week, and New York is only the beginning of fashion week as it is followed immediately by London, Milan and Paris. But, instead I sit here surrounded by snow, only dreaming. However, thanks to Polyvore I can make this dream a reality, (well, almost). Here are some outfits I created to wear for fashion week, accompanied by the most essential accessories, such as an iPad with YSL patent leather case, Blackberry, Starbucks coffees, oversized clutches to carry all your necessary items, leather gloves and warm coats, capes and vests.
