All Covered Up.

As the winter slowly creeps up on us here in Australia, I am falling in love with long sleeve dresses. With whimsical crochet, lace, chiffon and pleated fabrics. I love the elegance of the long sleeve and waist detailing, but the short skirt.. something about it. Perfect for this weather that can't decide if its going to be hot or cold or wind or rain, or all of the above.

My Morning Coffeee.

I have always liked coffee, however, it used to be a "1am, quick make an instant coffee so I can finish this assignment" type of affair and it usually affects me quite badly. To the point where I can't think straight and my hands are constantly shaking. Now, I think I have conquered coffee. I have a home-made plunge coffee every morning and I am usually ok. Unless I don't eat anything.... But I have always been fascinated by coffee art and although I can make espresso coffee, I have never done it, but I don't think it would be very difficult to pick up. Hard to master, perhaps. I just love all these little designs!

AND THEN I came across these. Oh my, I just love Studio Ghibli. I want to marry Hayao Miyazaki. I wish I had a Totoro coffee when I was in Japan. I wish.

Inspiration is a wonderful thing. It comes from everything and from everywhere. Today, I found all my inspiration in the same place, on the one page. It was all there in front of me. It was perfection.

A Place to Roam.

It is just becoming cool here, on the Gold Coast, and this means its time to bring out the knits and wear slippers at night. However, I still have some friends travelling in the northern hemisphere and I can't help drool over their photos of Europe, London and New York.
