Chloë Sevigny has recently revealed her new collection for Opening Ceremony at St. Patrick's Youth Centre in New York. Collaborating with skate label Vision Street Wear for logo-printed pieces and sunglasses by Barton Perreira, she unveiled her Resort 2012 with a diverse mix of models sporting white cotton, lace, mini-dresses, black leather, cut outs and leopard print; a mash up of teenage femininity meets retro street-chic. I love all these pieces! Absolutely amazing.

Standing on Heaven.
OPENING CEREMONY | CHLOË SEVIGNY FOR OPENING CEREMONY | SERGIO ROSSI
I absolutely love these shoes for the upcoming winter in Australia. I am so excited to go to Tokyo in three weeks and grab some amazing sale items for winter back home. Everywhere is beginning to merchandise their spring stock and I am hoping to get some of last season’s items at great prices. A few weeks ago I bought a black felt coat with a fur collar that was ¥10,000 reduced to ¥3000. Here’s hoping that the Gold Coast’s winter is cold enough to dust off my winter woollies!

Living in a fantasy.
Sometimes we all need a little escape from reality. Be it either work, paying bills, university exams or if your boyfriend spills coke all over your macbook. Sigh. Everyday things can get you down and it becomes too easy to obsess over the little things and miss the bigger picture. Looking on the bright side is so cliche but so true. My shift key is so sticky that every time I push it in the crunch makes me cringe. And because I have a unibody macbook its almost impossible to take apart and clean. But looking on the bright side, it was only a quarter of the keyboard and we have travel insurance since we are living in Japan. Also, whilst snowboarding the other day my boyfriend found an ipod touch lost in the snow so if my mac does decide to give up on life, we have some essence of apple and safari to keep us going. So if you need a little break, look here for inspiration, and although giant eggs, talking animals, super powers, witches and spells may not be in your average day to day scene, take a second to think about all the good things you have in life.
Life is precious and in the end, nothing really matters. ♥
