Vogue 52.

Photographer Mario Testino celebrates 52 covers with Paris Vogue. In the beginning, I was just going to post my favourite ones, but as I looked at them a second time, I thought, I simply must post them all. They are all amazing. So many iconic models and even a few celebrities. Kate Moss definitely appears the most.. but who doesn't love Kate Moss. Even if you hate her, you still love Kate Moss. Most of these covers are so avant-garde, but my favourite by far is the cover with Chandra North wearing Jean Paul Gaultier, its so very 1996. Can you tell I was a nineties kid? If you weren't then you missed out on some very, very bad fashions!

Model Turned Actor: Gemma Ward.

I love Gemma Ward, her little pixie face and her white-blonde hair. She looks like Tinkerbell but with sophistication. Her effortless beauty is well portrayed on this cover of Harper's Bazaar Australia.

Australia Day.

Australia - 'the lucky country' is a phrase that has been used to describe all the good things about our country, and while I have spent the past year traveling to numerous countries, including Japan, Britain, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Thailand, I have had the opportunity to realise just how lucky we Australians are. The fact that we can drink water straight from the tap and have a good relationship with our international neighbours are a few things to say the least. We have the freedom to travel interstate and still get along with our fellow countrymen. We have the freedom to vote, we promote multiculturalism and encourage individuality. And we have the freedom to have our say. So many of these things we take for granted and our privileges are often abused but we have adopted the phrase 'laid back', which shows in both our culture and our language, however, I am yet to meet someone that has something bad to say about our people or our nation. Apparently we leave a good impression all over the world. And that is something to be proud of.

Happy Australia Day! ☆
